Dear Mr. Frailich,

Please forgive me if I sound rather gushy, but this has been building for over fifteen years. I am so very tired of being brave and strong. I am so very tired of feeling as if I am handling all of this alone. I know there are so many others out there going through exactly what I have been going through all these years, but that is still little consolation when the isolation hits in the middle of the night, when the pain won't let me sleep.

I have become so bitter and cynical. This is not who I am, or at least not who I used to be. I can't even talk to my doctors about it anymore. I feel they all just think I'm some sort of whiner or worse. I go to the doctor when I cannot stand it anymore. I tell only the bare essentials to alleviate my symptoms and that is only when I can't make it to Mexico to buy my own Prednisone or whatever I have been prescribed in the past. This has been my life for too many years.

Since our conversation last week, I have a new found hope. Please understand, it is not an unrealistic dream. I simply feel as if I have someone in my corner. Someone with the knowledge and experience to guide me. Someone with the understanding and compassion to keep me going. Someone willing to talk to me.

What ever happens in my case, I want you to know how grateful I am for you and your service. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the innermost, hurt little girl living inside this old women.

I have received the final check. I just don't know what to say that hasn't been said already about you. To be honest, I was really skeptical at first hiring a lawyer that I have never met, plus I have not had good luck when it comes to lawyers. Dear Mr. Frailich, This word of thanks is long overdue. I wanted to write you and tell you how much we appreciated your work in getting Leatrice's settlement.

Another thing I wanted to tell you was where the money went. Leatrice on her death bed told one of the daughters that if any money was received that it should be divided between our daughters and that an extra amount be given to Libby for the leg work. She stated that the girls had spent so much time worrying with her going to the Dr. thru the years, that she wanted them to have it. And that I had enough to live on of what I had.

Our oldest daughter died last February. Every cent went the way Leatrice wanted it to go. The oldest daughter has two children and their part is set up in a trust fund.
